About six years ago a pair of American Bald Eagles built a nest in a clump of trees directly across the street from my aunt and uncles house in their retirement community in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania. The opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close and capture these images has been amazing.
When Bald Eagles are born, they do not have the white crown. They are completely brown and do not get their white feathers until they are about three years old.
